I am so excited as I have just downloaded my first book from the Internet Library to my Kindle.

 

 

What a pleasure!

 

 

As a member of the Internet Library, you can download all the Kindle versions of the books there, onto your Kindle.

It is still a work in progress.  We are about to implement this development soon.

Another Day, Another Dollar!

Its been a beautiful day here in sunny South Africa.

I have been to visit my 94 year old Mom.  She is doing so well even though she has Dementia.

I LOVE MY KINDLE!

Well, I have had my Kindle a couple of days now and have to say that I am really enjoying it.

It has sparked my love for reading once again.

I ordered a couple of samples of books and after reading a few, I decided to buy the book "A Mother's Hope - by Francine Rivers".

I will definitely buy the sequel once I have finished this book.

What excitement yesterday when my Kindle arrived.

at the Chicago Transit Authority are perfectly happy about the whole
arrangement. People actually let other buses pass by so they can
ride with the "singing bus driver." They love it.

Here is a man who believes he knows why he was put here on earth.
For him, it is to make people happy. And the more he sings, the more
people he makes happy. He has found a way to align his purpose in
living with his occupation. By following his bliss, he is actually
living the kind of life he believes he was meant to live.

BACK TO NORMAL AFTER SOCCER WORLD CUP!

South Africa has now settled down to normal after the hugely successful Soccer World Cup.
Even though South Africa never made it to the Final, a good time was had by all.

It is now time to put our loyalty behind the Springbok Rugby Team!

Now is also the time to get back to work! Needless to say I have been gallavanting as usual but thankfully working at home allows me the freedom to enjoy life as well.

What a lovely weekend we have just had.
Went shopping at the Pavilion Shopping Centre on Saturday morning.

Late Saturday afternoon we went down to UShaka, took a long walk along the promenade to the Fan Park where the World Soccer Cup (or should I say Football for the English Fans!) was being shown on the big screen.
Finished the evening off with dinner at Ocean Basket.

Sunday morning I went to an Indian Wedding. What an experience! The venue was decorated so beautifully.
Sunday evening we had a function at our Church where we watched Spain win the Soccer World Cup. What an enjoyable evening.

Now that the World Cup is over and we have been give a "9" by Fifa, we all have to get our lives back to normal.
Not easy to start working again after all that excitement!!!!!

Had a lovely weekend.
Went to Church - great sermon!
After Church the whole family went for a walk along the Durban Beachfront. It was the most beautiful day. There were crowds of people enjoying the great weather.
Today I am spending the whole day at home. Hoping to get a lot of work done on my businesses (on the right).
It is just great to be able to work from home.

What a frustrating day I have had today. My Internet has been off most of the day!
I had great plans on getting a lot of work done today but to no avail.
Luckily my "Be Motivated Today" Business runs on autopilot!!!

She did not look too good today, so I am worried about her. But she is still doing well at 93.
Tomorrow I hope to get my new glasses and just maybe ..... a Blackberry!!!!!

COMPUTER HEALTH STRATEGIES!

Review of the EBook "Computer Health Strategies".

Working in Regular Exercise for Computer Users

An estimated 72 percent of Americans now own a computer and are online.  Add in other people worldwide who join them using computers and jumping online. And calculate in the growing obesity rate worldwide. The result is a large amount – that continues to grow – of unhealthy populations clicking keyboards for major portions of their days.

What happens most often is:

1. People continue working more and more hours on computers, many even hooked in to them via headphones with mouth pieces, taking only short breaks to get away from their terminals.

2. When these people do take breaks, they sit. And they eat.

3. When these workers go home, they repeat more of the same at home, sitting at their computers: moonlighting, growing their own businesses, having fun chatting, playing games, dating online and joining discussion forums, catching up on news and favorite ezines, and more. And again, breaks mean sitting somewhere else – generally in front of the television screen - and eating.

Well, no more of that. Now it's time to wake up and shake up those bodies!

And the best way to do that is to start with exercise. Exercise is necessary to your losing those extra pounds. And even if you don't have any – yet- it can help get and keep you in good shape for many long, happy, healthy years ahead on your computer. Life for people was not geared towards the sit-down, sedentary lifestyle of working from chairs, watching television from chairs, etc. Instead, life is geared for action. And getting up for a sit-down snack is not the kind of action that counts here – except maybe a little, like if you have to walk up 20 flights of stairs during your snack break, then back down.

Exercise to Work into Your Day

Begin by checking with your local family doctor or other healthcare provider to determine if you need any special requirements before jumping into a healthy plan. For example, for those very much over weight, starting slowly with small amounts of just the right types of exercise might be recommended. Then add activity into your plans throughout the day.
